One person has died and another is seriously injured after a collision between a motorcycle and two cars in Queenstown this afternoon.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash on Frankton Road just before 4pm.
The eastbound lane of the state highway is closed and is likely to remain so for some time. Motorists are avoid Frankton Road
The police serious crash unit is investigating.
