A person has died after being hit by a train in West Auckland this morning.

Emergency services were called to Bruce McLaren Rd in Henderson about a 6.45am.
Police say a body was found near the tracks.
Western line trains were still running between New Lynn and the city centre, but buses had replaced trains at stations further west.
