A woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing a milk truck in South Auckland this morning.

Police received a report of the truck being stolen at around 7am on Lappington Road in Ōtara.
The vehicle led police on a pursuit but eventually hit a power pole on Great South Road in Papatoetoe.
The 29-year-old woman was arrested and charged with unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, reckless driving and failing to stop.
