Three men have been arrested in relation to yesterday's firearms incident in Christchurch.
Police were called to the Hereford Street site about 2pm yesterday afternoon, following reports of a man having received a gunshot wound.
The victim remained in hospital in a stable condition.
A police spokesperson said this morning that two men aged 27 and a 25 year-old were to appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
A firearm believed to have been used during the incident was also recovered.
While no one else was being sought in relation to the incident, police were asking any further witnesses they had not yet spoken with, to come forward.
