Police are appealing for witnesses after multiple shots were fired at a parked vehicle in Christchurch today.

They were called to the shooting on Breens Road in the suburb of Bishopdale, just before midday.
No-one was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
Police say the offenders then fled the scene in another vehicle.
The offending vehicle and a firearm were found, police said, and both were being examined.
Officers are speaking to two people following the shooting and aren't looking for anyone else.
