A pedestrian in Christchurch has been killed in a crash involving a motorbike.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Blenheim Road and Foster Street in Addington at 6.37pm this evening.
The police are continuing to ask motorists to stay away from the area.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
