One person has died after a crash involving a motorcycle and parked car in east Auckland this afternoon.

The crash on Tecoma St in Ellerslie was reported at about 1.30pm, police said.
The off ramp near Tecoma St remains closed and drivers are asked to avoid the area, if possible.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
