A woman's body has been found near a burnt vehicle on a remote road in the Tasman District.

Emergency services were called to to Te Towaka-Port Ligar Road in Admiralty Bay just after 9pm last night.
They found a vehicle that had left the road and caught fire, with a body near by.
Police are at the scene, continuing to investigate the circumstances of what happened.
