Firefighters have contained a bush fire north of Auckland, which led to homes being evacuated this afternoon.
Fire and Emergency was called to the blaze at 1pm, which is now covering 4ha at Greenhithe.
At least 32 firefighters were tackling the fire and trying to stop it from reaching homes.
A helicopter with a monsoon bucket has also joined the fight.
At least three homes had been evacuated by 4pm.
