Lockdowns on an early childhood centre and a primary school in Christchurch have now been lifted, but a search is continuing for the person at the centre of the incident.

Roydvale School and BestStart Roydvale in the suburb of Bishopdale went into lockdown about 1pm.
A police spokesperson says they were responding to an incident at approximately 12pm, which was believed to involve one person.
Cordons were put in place while police attempted to locate the person.
The cordons have now been lifted, but police say their enquiries are continuing.
