Police have named a man who died in a fatal fire in Coatesville, north of Auckland, as Lee Daniel Roycroft, 42.

Formal identification of the second deceased person was ongoing and police could not identify they them yet.
Post-mortems on the pair had been completed.
Detective Senior Sergeant Nadene Richmond said they were continuing to investigate the fatal house fire that occurred on Tuesday morning.
"Enquiries are continuing into the cause of the fire and Police have been present at the property on Mahoenui Valley Road today.
"While our enquiries are ongoing, police will not be speculating around the circumstances of this incident."
