A burst water main in Auckland closed a major on ramp for traffic going into the city on Monday morning.
The Great South Road link to the Ellerslie roundabout was closed, blocking access to the Ellerslie-Panmure on and off ramps.
One lane was later opened for motorway-bound traffic to get on to the roundabout, but delays were still expected.
