A fourth person has been charged after a man with four gunshot wounds sought treatment at Southland Hospital earlier this month.
The 19-year-old victim has undergone surgery at the hospital.
Police said today that a 25-year-old man has been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to an incident at a property on Tweed Street in Invercargill on Saturday 2 October.
The man has been remanded in custody until he appears in the Invercargill District Court on 16 November.
A 26-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man have already been charged with firearms offences.
A 36-year-old man has been charged with firearms and drug offences and all three remain in custody in relation to this incident, police said in a statement.
