A person has died in an early morning truck crash in Greenhills, near Bluff.

Police received report of the crash just before 3.30am.
State Highway One into Bluff has now re-opened. No detour had been available after the accident, which closed the highway between Motu Rimu Rd and Omaui Rd.
The police Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
