A person has died after becoming trapped under their work vehicle in the Wellington suburb of Tawa this afternoon.
Police were called to the incident at Lyndhurst Road at 2.20pm.
Inquiries into the circumstances are under way, but initial indications were that the vehicle rolled down a small bank on the residential street, police siad.
The incident will be referred to WorkSafe.
