Waiheke ferry terminal among latest Auckland locations of interest

The Waiheke ferry terminal in downtown Auckland has become a location of interest for Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health has asked anyone who was there last Sunday afternoon between 1.10pm and 1.45pm to monitor for Covid-19 symptoms and get tested if any develop.

It was initially listed as a close-contact location, but was later downgraded. 

There are also five other new close-contact venues in Auckland listed today, including a Jetstar flight from Auckland to Wellington.

They are:

  • Sushi Tomi Milford, 20 January from 2.18pm to 3.18pm
  • Learning Network NZ Henderson, 27 January from 8.45am to 1pm
  • Flight JQ259 Auckland to Wellington, 23 January from 10.30am to 11.35am
  • Auckland Airport Regional Lounge Auckland Domestic Airport Māngere, 23 January from 4.45pm to 8pm

The latest Waikato close-contact venues are the One-Three-One restaurant cafe and bar in Paeroa last Monday evening and a private event at the Sikh Society temple in Te Rapa last Saturday afternoon.

Flight NZ8193 from Wellington to Timaru on Friday 28 January from 9am to 10.30am was also listed as a close-contact location of interest today.

More flights were added as locations of interest later in the evening
