A search for a man reportedly missing in the water off the South Taranaki coast has been suspended for the night.
The man reportedly went into the water from the rocks near Waiinu Beach.
A police Search and Rescue team, a helicopter, the Coastguard and surf lifesaving crews are involved.
Teams will reassess the search tomorrow morning, police said.
