Two people have been charged after an assault in Hawke's Bay last Wednesday.
A child was injured when they were caught in a fight between two adults at Cornwall Park in Hastings.
A 26-year-old-man and 35-year-old woman were arrested.
The man was charged with common assault and assault on a child, while the woman was charged with common assault.
They are both due to appear in the Hastings District Court on 28 June.
A hui was held yesterday at Anderson Park in Napier to discuss solutions.
Although some reports say nearly 100 people attended, police say there were only about 40 people in attendance.
Some of those were the local iwi chair, a Hastings councillor, gang whānau and Destiny Church members.
