A cyclist injured in a hit and run in Christchurch two weeks ago has died.
Police said Sean William Russell Innes, 45, of Christchurch, died yesterday morning in Christchurch Hospital.
Innes was hit by a car on Linwood Avenue on 13 September.
A 43-year-old Ashburton man has been arrested and charged with driving dangerously causing injury, driving while disqualified, and failing to stop or ascertain injury.
Police said further charges were likely.
