A 20-year-old man has denied all charges including kidnapping and threatening to kill after a person was forcibly taken from their home to a nearby ATM last week.

In the Auckland District Court today, the man pleaded not guilty to 10 charges.

He has not sought bail and will be remanded in custody until 1 February next year.

The offender is alleged to have abducted the victim from a property in Methuen Road in the Auckland suburb of New Windsor, shortly before 11pm last Sunday.

After refusing to stop for police, the offender crashed his car into another vehicle - injuring the victim.

The charged man has interim name suppression for the next seven days.
