One person has died following a serious crash in south Auckland's Karaka area this afternoon.
A second person has been transported to hospital in a moderate condition.
The two-vehicle crash on Karaka Rd was reported to police about 2.35pm.
The Serious Crash Unit was in attendance and road closures remained in place between Blackridge Rd and Oira Rd.
