Police are investigating reports a person was stabbed at a concert by the band LAB in Hastings over the weekend.
They say someone was seriously injured in the crowd at the Hastings A&P Showgrounds about 7pm on 21 January.
St John said the person was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital in a serious condition, but was discharged yesterday afternoon.
The promoter for the concert, Loop, said it was devastated about what happened.
Police and the district council had agreed event security was effectively managed, and it was an isolated incident, Loop said.
Police are still establishing what happened and who was involved.
