A woman has been arrested in Waikato after allegedly ramming into a police car while fleeing on Thursday.
Police said they were attending a shoplifting incident in Cambridge on Thursday afternoon, when they were rammed.
The driver fled from police and crashed into another motorist in Te Awamutu, before being taken into custody, police said.
The occupant of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The 26-year-old woman is due to appear in Hamilton District Court on Friday on a range of charges, including shoplifting, aggravated assault and dangerous driving.
