Heard through the grapevine: State Highway 1 south of Blenheim is a bit of a sticky mess after a crash between two trucks has left spilled grapes on the motorway.
Nobody was injured in the crash today at Riverlands, police said, but motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The road is partially closed for several hours while the crash scene is cleared
Traffic management is in place, with stop/go sytems being used.
Motorists are asked to delay travel or expect significant wait times.
