Waikato police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash at Whatawhata on Saturday morning.
One person died and two were injured when two vehicles collided on State Highway 23 shortly before 7am.
Police also want dashcam footage from any vehicles that might have captured the incident.
There was a serious crash on Saturday afternoon at Te Poi in rural Waikato.
One person was in a critical condition and two were seriously injured after the two-vehicle collision on State Highway 24.
The crash happened just after 3pm and police said the road would be closed for several hours and a diversion was in place.
And a person is in a critical condition following a crash between a vehicle and a motorbike on State Highway 2 at Nuhaka in northern Hawke's Bay at about 2.30pm on Saturday.
