One person has died after a crash in the Hawke's Bay town of Havelock North on Monday morning.
Police were notified of the crash between a car and truck at Waimarama Road and Te Mata Mangateretere Road about 11.50am.
One person died at the scene and another person suffered serious injuries, police said.
The road reopened just before 6pm.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
