Mount Street in Auckland's CBD is cordoned off following a fire in an apartment block.
Fire and Emergency say they were called to the 12-storey building just before 7pm
More than 40 firefighters attended and the blaze on the 10th floor apartment has been extinguished.
It is believed St John's Ambulance helped a person who was in the apartment.
The building's residents have been allowed back inside.
