A body has been found by search teams in the Richmond Range, police say.
A Land Search and Rescue team working in the area located the body on Wednesday, police said in a media statement.
Formal identification had not yet been carried out, and police said that meant no further information would be released for now.
"Police will conduct enquiries on behalf of the coroner, who will release their finding in due course," they said.
Earlier this week, Stuff reported search teams began scouring the Richmond Ranges on Tuesday, after a tramper from Czechia who was last seen on 4 May did not return from the area.
