A fire has extensively damaged a commercial building in Dunedin's Calton Hill.
Fire and Emergency said six fire trucks were sent to the large blaze on South Road in the early hours of this morning.
Two fire trucks were initially sent to the scene at 4am, but another four were called out to help put out the blaze.
FENZ said no one was injured, but the building has been extensively damaged.
A fire investigator was expected on the scene today.
