Auckland police are investigating an overnight ram raid.
Police were called around 1am on Saturday to a commercial business after a vehicle was used to gain entry.
Burglars entered the store and stole items before fleeing in another vehicle.
Police found the second vehicle abandoned a short time later but the burglars are yet to be located.
Police say there were 388 ram raid style events resulting in 218 prosecutions in the six months ended May this year.
Some are fed-up with long delays in getting the devices installed, and others say the eligibility criteria for funding is still too narrow. Audio
