Emergency services are responding to a crash involving two vehicles on Piha Road in West Auckland.
Police were called to the scene at 5:15 this evening.
A police spokesperson said initial indications suggested one person was in a critical condition and two people were in serious conditions.
Piha Road was closed and motorists were advised to avoid the area and use an alternate route as there were no diversions are in place.
The Serious Crash Unit was on the scene and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash were under way.
