One person has been found dead after a fire ripped through a house in Hamilton this morning.
Emergency services were called to the blaze on Fox Street at 3.05am.
Police said the house was fully engulfed and neighbouring properties had to be evacuated.
Earlier police said one person was missing and that three others managed to escape the fire.
Since then the person has been found dead, police said.
A scene guard was in place and police said they would be working at the address today alongside Fire and Emergency investigators.
