Police are treating the death of a man found in a Wellington park as unexplained.
The man's body was found in Tanera Park, Brooklyn and police were called about 3.45pm.
At this stage the death was being treated as unexplained and an investigation into the circumstances was under way, police said
People are asked to stay away from the park while a scene examination is carried out.
Police wanted to speak to anyone who was in the park on Thursday afternoon, specifically near the community garden.
