A child has died after they were hit by a vehicle in a driveway in Tuakau on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to a crash involving a child on a driveway on Martindale Lane and a vehicle at about 12.25, police said.
The child died at the scene.
In Patea, one person has died after a crash on State Highway 3.
Police were called to a crash involving a truck and two cars at 1.25pm.
The serious crash unit has been notified and no diversions were in place, police said.
