A former Oranga Tamariki worker charged with indecently assaulting children has been granted ongoing name suppression.
The ruling was made in the Hutt Valley District Court on Thursday.
Last month, the 34-year-old pleaded not guilty to nine charges in relation to four young people, and has elected trial by jury.
He is alleged to have sniffed and licked his cellphone while watching indecent material with a young person.
The man will next appear in court on 15 November.
Name suppression will continue until the trial callover after that.
