Police have named the man found dead in a Hamilton driveway on Saturday.
He was Te Reo Wickliffe-Heta, 24, whose body was found at a house on Sundown Crescent in Melville at about 12.10am yesterday.
A 24-year-old woman has been charged with assault and is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court.
Police said further charges were likely.
The homicide investigation in relation to his death was ongoing, police said.
Police are still appealing for CCTV footage from people living in the street.
