A man has been arrested after another man entered a supermarket in Manurewa seriously injured.
Police said the man with serious injuries entered the grocery store at 6pm and was later taken to Middlemore Hospital with serious injuries.
Early information was that there had been an incident at a bus stop not far from the supermarket, but officers were working to establish exactly what occurred, said police.
Police have arrested a man who was assisting them with their enquiries.
