One person is critically injured following a crash between a car and a motorbike in Thames, Waikato.
Police were called to the scene on State Highway 5 near Banks Street just prior to midday on Monday.
One person was taken to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition.
State Highway 25 was closed for several hours following the crash.
Just after 5pm, police said the road had reopened.
"Police wish to thank motorists for their patience while the road was closed."
