A man who died in a single-vehicle crash last month on the West Coast was from the United Kingdom.
Three other passengers also suffered minor injuries in the crash on Otira Highway, Jacksons in Westland on 28 January.
Police have now identified the person who died as 26-year-old Joseph Snode.
At the time of the crash, police had said an investigation into the cause was underway.
