Three people are in hospital after a night of violence in Hamilton.
One person was stabbed on Anglesea Street in the city centre and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police say a 30-year-old man was due to appear in Hamilton District Court on Wednesday in relation to the stabbing, charged with wounding with intent to injure.
And in the suburb of Bader, police were called to a disorder incident which initial reports indicated may have involved a firearm.
Two people were transported to hospital, one in a serious condition and one moderate.
Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
