An Auckland primary school says all children are safe after it went into a precautionary lockdown.
The lockdown was due to an incident near Glenavon School in Blockhouse Bay, the New Zealand Herald reported.
Speaking to RNZ, the school said it was out of lockdown by 11.30am on Wednesday.
Police have been contacted for comment.
Earlier this month, Western Springs College was evacuated due to a "threat to the school" as was Botany Downs Secondary School.
Police investigated and told staff the grounds at Western Springs were safe.
A Western Springs teacher said he had been told it was a bomb threat.
A police spokesperson said the school had been evacuated as a precaution "following second-hand information of a threat towards the school".
Botany Downs Secondary School principal Karen Brinsden told RNZ at the time that all students, staff and other people on site had been safely accounted for and the evacuation process had worked smoothly.
"As a precaution, we have put in place actions moving forward and the police will increase external patrols around the school and local area over the next few days," she said.
Police inquiries determined the threat was a hoax.
