Due to a crash with power lines down just north of Parakiwai Quarry Rd, #SH25 is closed south of Whangamata. Delay your journey or consider alternative route via SH25A to north of Whangamata: https://t.co/trLzGPoF01 ^TP pic.twitter.com/7TNM6PfezS
Police said live power lines were brought down.
The diver was safely removed from the truck but had moderate injuries.
The road was earlier closed in both directions.
The truck has since been removed, but motorists can still expect continued delays and should take alternative routes where possible.
