The body of a man has been found near the corner of Sydney Street and St Andrew Street in Invercargill.
Police said they were called to the scene about 9.25am on Sunday.

They were treating the death as unexplained and a scene examination had been completed.
A post-mortem examination would be conducted on Tuesday, police said.
