A Northland road is blocked after a car crashed into a tree.
Police said the crash, on Te Pua Road near State Highway 1 in Kaikohe, was reported about 5.30pm on Saturday.
The serious crash unit had been advised.
"The road is blocked and diversions are in place, motorists are advised to take the alternative route."
It was not yet known if anyone was injured.
