An investigation is under way after a man was found critically injured in a South Auckland suburb on Monday.
Police were called to Langiola Drive in Favona at 9pm after he was found injured on the street.

A police spokesperson said the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
However, his condition has now been upgraded to critical but stable.
No information has been released about how the person was injured.
