Police are continuing to investigate the unexplained death of a woman in South Auckland on Thursday afternoon.
The woman was found dead at a property on Bari Lane in Māngere East shortly before 4.30pm on Thursday.

A police spokesperson said a post-mortem had been carried out, but her death was still being treated as unexplained and work was still underway to formally identify her.
Police remained at the property on Friday while a scene examination was underway.
The death happened at a Kāinga Ora property on Bari Lane.
In a statement, Kāinga Ora Counties Manukau regional director Angela Pearce said her thoughts were with the friends and whānau of the woman who died.
"While the death is under police investigation,it would be inappropriate for us to comment further," she said.
