An investigation is underway after a body was found inside a vehicle in Auckland's Silverdale.
In a statement, police said it was notified of the body on Mita Road about 3.30am on Tuesday.
"An investigation into the circumstances of the death is underway and at this stage it is being treated as unexplained."
Police said further information would be provided when possible.
