Two people have been injured after a two vehicle crash in Wellington.
Emergency services were responding to the crash on State Highway One in Ranui, Porirua that was reported at 12.10pm.
One person was in a moderate condition while the other was in a serious condition.
Police said the southbound lane was blocked just before the Porirua-Titahi Bay on-ramp and traffic was congested.
Motorists were advised to expect delays and use an alternative route where possible.
