RNZ National's refreshed Saturday Morning programme with co-hosts Mihingarangi Forbes and Susie Ferguson will kick-start the weekend with a new hour-long segment discussing the major news stories of the week with journalists, correspondents and newsmakers.
Launching at the new time of 7am on Saturday 31 August, Forbes and Ferguson will broadcast live from the central library Tūranga in Christchurch.
The new segment will be followed at 8am by the long-form interviews across a broad range of topics that Saturday Morning is known for.
Interviews from Saturday Morning will be found on rnz.co.nz and RNZ's social media channels as the show aims to create both an outstanding radio programme for listeners and digital content for new online audiences.
The extended Saturday Morning programme will see Country Life shift to 6am.
