A man charged with corruption over millions of dollars of public sector construction contracts, along with two other people, has been named as Milosi Toala.
The Serious Fraud Office filed the charges against Toala, alongside Henry Semiti Rogo and Daud Nugroho Suryantyo, in December last year.
Toala's name suppression has now lifted.
The three are accused of disguising their relationships to use Suryantyo's public sector roles with Regional Facilities Auckland and the Counties Manukau District Health Board to award their own companies contracts worth about $3.5 million.
Suryantyo is alleged to have taken advantage of official information to award the contracts to them and to have received bribes.
Toala faces six charges of obtaining by deception and two of corrupt use or disclosure of official information.
He and Rogo have pleaded not guilty.
"Cases that involve possible corruption of public officials are a priority for the SFO given our mandate to protect New Zealand's financial and economic well-being," said Serious Fraud Office director Karen Chang.
The three will next appear in the Auckland District Court on 3 December.
